The Lancaster Adventist church is pleased to welcome Pastor Chad Washburn as our new Associate Pastor. Chad, his wife, Jody, and puppy Baruch  have moved to our community from Berrien Springs, MI, where Chad completed his Masters of Divinity degree from Andrews University in December. Jody will be completing her graduate studies at Andrews in May.

Their move to Lancaster is a return to California for the Washburns. Chad received a BA in Theology from Pacific Union College, and Jody, a Walla Walla College graduate, has family ties in Santa Barbara. They met while on a mission trip to Indonesia in 2004, were married on June 25, 2006 and served the Santa Barbara church before beginning their graduate studies at Andrews University.

The Washburns have a wide range of interests including surfing, outdoor sports, small groups, and playing guitar. Chad can add dog training to his list of skills. Puppy Baruch, an adorable chocolate lab, can eagerly sit, lay down, and roll over at his master’s command. Chad and Jody are excited about serving the Lancaster church and community.
